Product Description

AKÇEwood brand reflective panels are slotted and identified with the code AKÇE112. Our product is designed to prevent sound waves with variable frequencies from reflecting off the wall surface. It is made from 18 mm MDF Laminate / Coated material. The front surface of the panel features slot lines with a solid distance of 12 mm, a depth of 6 mm, and a width of 4 mm. The back surface of the panel is flat. For wall mounting, a supporting construction is created using 40x40x2 mm box profiles, fixed vertically or horizontally with intervals of 600 mm. Wooden frames are mounted on the construction using a level and string. Stone wool with a density of 50 kg/m³ is placed between the wooden frames. The installation of the panels can be done using lamps, dovetail systems, or omega connection profiles. Regarding the ceiling panel, during the frame application, the elevation of the application area is measured using a laser or hose level. L-shaped corner profiles are mounted on the elevation. 3600 mm long T15/T24 main carriers are suspended from the ceiling at a maximum distance of 600 mm from the starting wall using steel anchors, suspension wire, and double spring clips. The distance between the attachment points of the suspension wires to the main carriers should be a maximum of 1200 mm. The second main carrier is hung at a distance of 1200 mm from the first one using the same system. 1200 mm-long secondary carriers are connected at a 90-degree angle to the main carriers. Then, 600x1200 mm rectangular spaces are formed on the ceiling using the 600 mm secondary carriers, and the panels are placed in these spaces.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the advantages of acoustic panels?

Acoustic panels enhance sound insulation, improve the overall sound quality of a space, reduce echoes, and control noise. They also provide a decorative and aesthetic appearance, blending into the design of a space with various color and pattern options.

How is an acoustic panel installed?

Acoustic panels are typically mounted on walls or ceilings using screws or adhesives. The mounting method can vary depending on the product and the needs of the space. Seeking professional assistance can make the installation process more effective and accurate.

How does acoustic panel affect sound insulation?

Acoustic panels enhance sound insulation by absorbing and diffusing sound waves. When sound waves are absorbed on the panel surface, the reverberation time decreases, effectively controlling noise and echo in the space, resulting in improved sound quality.

How is the maintenance of acoustic panels done

Generally, the maintenance of acoustic panels is quite simple. It may be sufficient to regularly clean the accumulated dust and dirt on the surface by gently wiping it with a damp cloth. Cleaning according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer will help ensure the longevity of the panels.

How is the sound absorption performance of acoustic panels measured?

The sound absorption performance of acoustic panels is typically measured using the Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) value. NRC is a numerical value between 0 and 1, and the higher the value, the more effective the panels are. Panels with a high NRC value exhibit better sound absorption performance.
