Product Description

Our AKÇEwood brand reflective panels are slotted and identified with the code AKÇE111. Our product is designed to enhance reflection by allowing variable frequency sound waves in the existing space to hit the wall surface. It is made from 18 mm MDF Lam / Coated material. The panel's front surface features slot lines with a solid distance of 28 mm, a depth of 6 mm, and a width of 4 mm. The back surface of the panel is flat. For mounting the panel on the wall, a 40x40x2 mm box profile is used to create a supportive framework, either vertically or horizontally with 600 mm intervals. Wooden frames are mounted on the framework using a level and string. Mineral wool with a density of 50 kg/m³ is placed between the wooden frames. Prior to installation, the base is prepared, and the acoustic panels are installed using lamp, nailed, or adhesive systems. For ceiling panel installation, the area to be treated is measured with a laser or hose level, and an L corner profile is mounted on the measured line. 3600 mm long T15/T24 main carriers are suspended from the ceiling using steel anchors, suspension wires, and double spring hangers, with a maximum distance of 600 mm from the starting wall. The distance between the attachment points of the suspension wires to the main carrier should be a maximum of 1200 mm. The second main carrier is installed at a distance of 1200 mm from the first one, following the same system. 1200 mm long secondary carriers are attached to the main carriers at a 90° angle, connecting the 3600 mm main carriers. Subsequently, 600x1200 mm rectangular shapes are formed on the ceiling using 600 mm secondary carriers, creating 600x600 mm squares. Panels are placed within these squares.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the advantages of acoustic panels?

Acoustic panels enhance sound insulation, improve the overall sound quality of a space, reduce echoes, and control noise. They also provide a decorative and aesthetic appearance, blending into the design of a space with various color and pattern options.

How is an acoustic panel installed?

Acoustic panels are typically mounted on walls or ceilings using screws or adhesives. The mounting method can vary depending on the product and the needs of the space. Seeking professional assistance can make the installation process more effective and accurate.

How does acoustic panel affect sound insulation?

Acoustic panels enhance sound insulation by absorbing and diffusing sound waves. When sound waves are absorbed on the panel surface, the reverberation time decreases, effectively controlling noise and echo in the space, resulting in improved sound quality.

How is the maintenance of acoustic panels done

Generally, the maintenance of acoustic panels is quite simple. It may be sufficient to regularly clean the accumulated dust and dirt on the surface by gently wiping it with a damp cloth. Cleaning according to the instructions provided by the manufacturer will help ensure the longevity of the panels.

How is the sound absorption performance of acoustic panels measured?

The sound absorption performance of acoustic panels is typically measured using the Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) value. NRC is a numerical value between 0 and 1, and the higher the value, the more effective the panels are. Panels with a high NRC value exhibit better sound absorption performance.
